we haven't seen enough of timu to judge if he can be a starter he did play better than shea in his short time last year.
I don't need to see more of a UDFA that spent the year on the practice squad to know that I don't want him penciled in as a starting LB next year. Even if he's not penciled in, you're talking about him competing against 2 other UDFAs (Anderson, Jones) or actually paying money for McClellin to come back, which is also a terrible idea.
I have no problem with him on the roster, competing to start next to a solid FA pickup. But if he's easily the best option to start at any position, no matter who he's next to, it's a terrible waste of resources this offseason.
