No player brings more long-term financial stability to the team by grabbing the 2C position than a competent Teuvo would. He's my vote.

Maybe bring in Legwand for a one year contract - I don't know if it would rate 2nd Line Center status - but it has some potential.

Ready now?

Probably not. But, he has a lot of hype and it may be legitimate. Only one way to find out.

And we have 82 games to figure out whether or not he's a legit 2C. Our regular season doesn't hinge on Teuvo.

I say that because he is a bit on the smurf side. I can see opposing teams putting thier checking line on Saad, TT, Kane, night after night and wearing them down by mid season. But then again, we all know how much Q loves to juggle his lines.

Furthermore, I don't think he is enough of a 2 way player that can play the 200ft duties every shift against the big bodies in the NHL.

T Teravainen 5' 11" 169 pounds

Denis Savard 5' 9" 170 pounds

Patrick Kane 5' 11" 180 pounds

Martin St. Louis 5' 8" 180 pounds

Sometimes it's not how big you are but how you use what you got.

Put Teuvo between Sharp and Hossa and he will be.

Put Tevuo between Sharp and Hossa and that won't matter.

Fine. Then put him between Saad and Hossa.

The point being that any potential deficiencies in Teuvo's game can be easily made up by putting him at 2C with a solid pair of wings skating with him.

Teuvo doesn't have to do it all; none of the Hawks have to do that. That's why they're so good. He just has to do enough. And I believe Teuvo can do enough.

they still will need some depth we dont have 4 lines. 3 line is very suspect

Let's assume

Saad-Toews-Hossa
Sharp-TT-Kane
Bickell-Shaw-Versteeg
Bollig-Krueger-fillin

That's pretty solid.
