I've been busy and I can't keep up with all the Bears news. Somewhere lost in the shuffle of Peterman being released, wild speculation on Alan Williams and Fields blaming his coaches for poor play - was it forgotten about that Braxton Jones is going on IR?

I don't even know who is starting on the line at this point

I'd assume Borom but someone on 670 the Score suggested that Carter might get a shot at LT if they keep Wright at RT. There were also allegedly internal discussions about moving Wright to LT. Who the hell knows at this point?

It is wild to think about it's week 3 and your offensive line is potentially:
LT - Borom who has sucked the vast majority of the time he's played
LG - Whitehair who is too hurt to snap the ball but healthy enough to block
C - Patrick who has sucked in damn near every appearance since he got here.
RG - Davis who missed the entire offseason and 95% of training camp and played poorly in game 1
RT - Wright, a rookie

That is depressing AF for week 3 and yet arguably the 3rd biggest story of the day. Weird ass day.

Would be really dumb to move wright. I fully expect that. They called up Collins and some other guy I’ve never heard of. It should be Borom, regardless of how bad that might be, leave wright alone for this year anyway.

Crazy that we're gonna go into this off-season needing four new starters on the OL.

I can't believe it's two weeks in and I already miss the off-season, when excitement and hope are at their zenith. I had my sights set on 2024 anyway but had hoped to see a positive trend with the Bears this season. Not even sure where to start or who is falling short the most (coaching, play calling, players, talent evaluation). It's a mess.
