ND is horrible.
......Not gonna fall for this obvious trap laid for me to post here......

I am impressed by the folks that did engineering/Comp sci at Illinois/Purdon't.

That's legit hard to get into, especially compSci at UIUC. I know a really good kid (son of boss' friend) trying to get into CS at UIUC and he's at around a 30 on the ACT...not good enough apparently, so he is going to keep taking the ACT.

I will tell y'all I got rejected by UofC, and then my father demanded a letter of explanation from them-they offered a very compelling one.

Apparently UofC checks Sr. grades- who knew?

DeVry Technician certificate.
IIT BS Electrical Engineering.
UIC a few miscellaneous classes.
Kellogg School of Management for an MEM Masters of Engineering Management back in the 80's, I think it's called something else now. I bailed before finishing because I like being an engineer more than a manager. Plus driving from DuPage County to Evanston 3 times a week sucked.

I got into UIUC Computer Science with a 27 on my ACT.... I think there is more to it than just ACT score.

Can depend on how many kids from his High School applied and/or got accepted to UIUC already.... his application essay.... I am pretty sure my essay is what got me in.

EDIT: And FTR I got a 27 on the ACT high out of my mind on pain killers because I had been cut open like 5 days before we took it.... I maintain I could have hit 30 or higher if I had needed to retake it.
