I don't watch them enough to care, I just really know Stamkos, and his freakish memory of every goal he's ever scored. Other than that, I like him but wouldn't really care either way. They just aren't a team to get excited about.

I actually don't know one player on Tampa. I guess thats what happens when you only ride on the bandwagon.

You've never even heard of Steven Stamkos?

No. Outside of the Blackhawks, I never watch hockey, and I watch little regular season games.. So I only ever learn of players on the Western Conference Teams until the Stanley Cup Finals.

I didn't get to watch very much of the eastern conference finals, but for those who did how did they beat the Rangers? I ask, because they seem to be playing the David card very well right now and everyone had the Rangers as the odds on favorite even before the playoffs started. Hell before the season started. I know the Tampa is really hot right now, but what exactly were they able to do in order to neutralize the Rangers and take the series. And no I don't mean well.. they scored more goals. I imagine winning Game two was huge for them. But as I've mentioned I don't know much about them, did they just use more speed, were they more physical, were they able to capitalize on power plays? How'd they get here? Has Bishop really been that good because from the box scores it seems like he's given up a lot of goals. They won 3 straight games in MSG to take the series, that's pretty impressive.

I enjoy watching Ben Bishop catch the glove in his trapper and have it fall out and into the net.

I like watching Bishop moving diagonally....:)

Seriously--Stamkos--he's like Crosby or Ovechkin but is not a complete Smega-encrusted douchenozzle.

So why isn't he a douchenozzle, he's got all the appropriate pedigree... has he just not hit the level of fame yet for the tide to turn.

I have no favorite but local sports announcers down here mentioned that Ben Bishop grew up in the area, and was drafted in the 3rd round in 2005, and played a bit for the Blues so they are happy for the local boy doing good..it's the only way they can connect St Louis to the cup finals lol..The kid is tall at 6'7 209lbs..it'll be interesting to see how the Hawks can get to him 5 hole maybe?..Brad Richards is my favorite ex Lightning player..It'd be nice to see him play the way he did from '04-09 too..I was in Tampa when he and the Bolts won the cup..
