If I can afford it I really wanna finally cough up the dough for a Bolland Home authentic. Can't get enough of the guy and have a feeling he is gonna be sticking around Chicago long enough for the Jersey to be worth it.

Also Fuffle, if your talking about the green jerseys with the shamrocks that never existed except in bandwagon fans minds, then yes you should be very happy.

Green jerseys are fun to have and every fan should have one in their collection. Sorry you don't agree.

Yes, everyone should have bootleg, fake jerseys.

Just like everyone should sell their tickets way over face.....sound familiar?

That made me laugh. Those hideous green jerseys make me so mad. I also have a thing where jerseys that are "historically inaccurate" bother me too. For example, when I see someone wearing one of old all black third jerseys with Hossa on the back, that pisses me off. The guy never played a game in that jersey, so why would you wear it? Its probably a stupid thing to worry about, but still.

You're trolling and you continue to show your immaturity on this board. For the record, the Green jersey replica is made by RBK - not a bootleg.

Yea....I'm trolling. I was personally invited onto IHN in its first inception, that was back before our first playoff berth, if I'm a troll then I sure as hell have stayed pretty long. Glad you got you coveted "post count" back as well, what are you 45? or 4 or 5. There's very few people here left from the first IHN and now were stuck with trolls like you that call people who have been here forever trolls. Can't wait til we can actually talk hockey and your opinion is officially....fuffle.

Back to your post, no there not made by Reebok at all, only further making the jersey's more ridiculous. Its a bootleg of the NHL, Chicago Blackhawks, Reebok, Indian Head and the color green.

P.S. Speaking of the old timers, T-Bird would appreciate this

You tried to take this thread about jerseys and attack me personally for my professions - that's called trolling. Back to the topic - you are 100% inaccurate. Do some research - the green jersey IS made by Reebok - they put out the replica. There is no such thing as a green 'authentic' so anyone selling a green jersey with a 'size' (i.e. size 54) on it is a fake from China.

My research is paying attention to the Blackhawks everyday since I could recall and never once hearing about an "official" green jersey release. Also just did a quick search and there is still no such thing in my book. Please post a picture, I would put my left, and right, nuts that the jersey you have is fake. Does it look like this?

Also, when did I attack your profession?

Reebok, the official Reebok company sells one green Blackhawks jersey. Since the team has never worn it, it can't be called an authentic. It is a replica with the ironed on patches, same as you would get with buying a red Reebok replica jersey. There is no such thing as an 'authentic' green jersey because Reebok does not sell one with the stitching on the shoulders. The photo you put up there above is a fake cause it has the stitching on the shoulders and not the ironed on patches. Since the Blackhawks don't wear the jersey they will not have a 'release' announcement for it. Best way to tell the real green Reebok replicas from the fake ones is not only in the shoulder patches/stitching but also in how it's sized. All replicas have normal sizing, ie S, M, L, XL, XXL, etc. The fake greens are sold with fit sizing numbers i.e. 54, 56, 58, etc.

That's correct - but you find they only sell the replica at Hawksquarters - which is the official one put out by Reebok.

Then I eat my balls.

Still couldn't pay me to wear one. Now Reebok might wanna pay attention to the market of jerseys at games which consists of 70% horrendous looking fakes. Something tells me they have some money coming out of that under the table or otherwise.

The China green fakes I actually prefer over the official Reebok green replicas. I don't like ironed on patches. I prefer the stitching. And the red ones are easy to spot cause the red is a little darker. The thing is I can buy green jerseys from China for $30 a piece in bulk, whereas a Reebok replica is going to cost a fan between $150-$200. The fakes are a nice alternative for the fan who doesn't have the cash or want to spend the high dollars for a red / white / black authentic.

Also anyway guys like Eruns, maiden, 5minutes, etc. will be back for this year. Would really add to this place considering some of the pick ups made last season, its funny to admit cause most remember when SeanAvery16 first signed up. But minus some non hockey related comments, Stu, your one of my favorite posters.

I have a fake Hossa red. I paid $40 for. In this economy I cant drop $$$ for a real one or even the $150 they sell at footlocker or such. Call me cheap, but I don't have to get a real one to show my support.

I only have one jersey with a players name and that is a home red Bolland. But if I got one for next year I would get a Ben Smith. Number 57 in your program but number one in your hearts. Although a Crawford wouldn't be bad either.

http://blackhawks.nhl.com/club/player.htm?id=8474727

FYI, Ben Smith changed his number to 28 for this coming season (if he makes the team). You might want to take that into consideration before ordering a jersey. Personally, I liked the number 57 for him, it made him easy to spot on the ice at all times.

If I had to say who's name would be on my next jersey, I would have to say Sharp or Seabrook. Love both of them and already have Toews, Kane, Hoss and Keith.

I agree. My Cousin got one and I was like why the hell would you wear a jersey that the guy never wore?
