Not into guitars but looks like a Strat. Better? The passive tone controls will just be a couple parts connected to one the end of a pot.
Yeah, it's made by leo fender after he left fender. So it's still a strat at its core.

It’s actually a Epiphone...... people who play it swear it’s a Gibson though. It has that feel and the action is awesome.

I just put in a pre-order for the Epiphone 59 LP limited edition. Can't wait for that one.

I have an Epiphone Korean made Sheraton....Of all the 20+ guitars I have, that one has the best action.. I replaced the cheap pickups though with Gibson 57 classics.. I also replaced the tuners.. The problem comes in with items like the bridge etc.. They used some crazy form of metric measuring, and finding a bridge for it was almost impossible.. I bought it new in 84

This was what I was planning on doing, buying a cheap Les Paul epiphone and changing the pickups and such over time. The LE comes with gibson burstbuckers though. I watched a bunch of reviews for it and every single one just gave me confirmation bias so I put in an order at Sweetwater.

Just be careful with the bridge and tailpiece..I had a hell of a time finding a bridge with the correct spacing.

BTW...I hate the neck on a Gibson LP...Too fat..Im partial to the slim taper

From what I've heard through the YouTube, it sounds really damn good. I ordered the cherry sunburst. Hopefully they get some in soon. I wish it had a rosewood fretboard but at that price, can't really complain with what I'm getting.

@Leomaz you ever think of putting together your own guitar? Think it would be a pretty fun project to get your own pieces and build it how you wish.

I have been thinking about it more and more.....I like the idea of making one from start to finish. The possibilities are endless

I love that thing. Such a great practice amp with features galore. I haven't even started to explore through the app yet. I've just been screwing with the amp itself.

I'm still learning how to use an amp to begin with. The amp I used to have was real crap, so I never learned how to change tones and such. I've got a buddy helping me with it, and I **** with it on my own.
