Metallica was simply better than Megadeth. Period.
That by no means that one doesn't cheat on their favorite band by enjoying other bands. It just means that on the pedestal it is simply Metallica, Pantera, and everyone else when it concerns heavy metal.
Rankings change all the time. THey had Bonnie Raitt around 60 and excluded the legend Brian Setzer >>YAWN>>>Basically. His posts are as subpar as his guitar hero. You can see how Rolling Stone mag has them ranked here:
100 Greatest Guitarists: David Fricke's Picks
David Fricke picks the best and most influential guitarists in rock – from Jerry Garcia and Joan Jett to B.B. King and Jimi Hendrix.www.rollingstone.com
If you're looking for Ommy's hero, he's a little farther down the list.

Your ranking has always been at the bottom.Rankings change all the time. THey had Bonnie Raitt around 60 and excluded the legend Brian Setzer >>YAWN>>>
What did you think of the shit solo Page did on the cocker song?Your ranking has always been at the bottom.
Mick Taylor was a decent guitar player but he doesn’t sniff the top 50. If even that. And yet, your boy Mick Taylor probably doesn't ever touch the great Jimmy Page. LOLOLOLOLOLO PAGEY!
Keith Richards who most consider the greatest rhythm guitarist claim Taylor is a virtuoso. Charlie Watts and Bill Wyman have stated the Stones only became a great live band once Taylor joined.
Actually they arent. The are legendary for druken and sloppy perfromancesThat's so awesome. You know who else was a great live band? Led Zeppelin.
According to you, dumb ass, the stones have been stealing peoples money since 1974......46 friggin years you bloody twit.Actually they arent. The are legendary for druken and sloppy perfromances
Yeah, Taylor would put himself ahead of Page and ZepI like the Stones as well. The Taylor years are some of my favorites. That said, putting Taylor ahead of Page is just ridiculous. Taylor wouldn't put himself ahead of Page, you fucking halfwit.
I also love Richards, but Malcolm Young is the Rickey Henderson of rhythm guitarists...second isn't even close.
As for the Stones version of Stop Breaking Down, it's meh at best; one of the weak points of the brilliant Exile On Main Street double album. This is a much better version: a visceral, stripped down, distorted romp..
ummmm. No. That is allYeah, Taylor would put himself ahead of Page and Zep
The Stones never respected Zep and they thought they were a heavy handed band that stole other people's songs without giving them credit
Malcolm is one dimensional as all their songs sound the same. AC/DC couldnt play blues for shit. Richard is the riff king and greatest rythym guitarist. No one created more memorable riffs than Richards. The average fan cant name 2 AC/DC songs
Taylor is better than all of them. Was the best slide player in 1971, best lead guitarist and a legendary blues man
