Thought when hockey season arrived, this'd be a little more active.
It's a ghost town in here.
It's a ghost town in here.
All jokes aside, a few of the posters who use to drive a lot of the traffic in here have gone MIA. That's part of it.
But the city of Chicago sort of ignores hockey until January, anyway. Despite all of the Hawks' success, it's a Bears town first and foremost, and I think that carries over to the fan base.
You'll probably see an uptick in traffic here when the Bears season is officially over or whenever their playoff chances are removed. Until then, it probably will be sleepy in here.
Its tough. We are just coming off of winning another cup. There is really no debate yet since this team hasnt really shown one way or the other REAL problems since we are in a sample size. Come Feb this place will be hopping. Even for me, after that playoff run last season my buzz for regular season games has gone down a tad. It will pick up though....and it usually does when there is a debate....nothing to debate right now.
I've had to miss basically every game lately because of classes, so I've been limited here.
I still haven't quite grasped the concept that the Hawks aren't in the playoffs and it's not the end of the world if they lose a game or two. Also forgotten how long an 82-game season is, compared to last year's 48.
Not being able to watch WGN games kind of sucks for me.
I have WGN, but because I am outside of Chicagoland it is WGN America which for some reason doesn't carry Blackhawks games. So I get things like In the Heat of the Night while Hawks games are on.why did you lose WGN
