Marshall is older than all of them but Wayne I believe...and more productive as well...I feel like on the open market he could've gotten $12/yr by a desperate team...but WR salaries for elite players tend to hover around $10m/yr I believe. The cap hit for Calvin Johnson is $13m next season, and his actual salary is around 9m I believe. Solid contract for both sides.

They can extend him after 2014.

It was a 4 year contract. 2012, 13, 14, and 15.

LOL, but Calvin's cap hit for 2015 is $20.5M and for 2016 is $24M... with a shit ton of dead money each year.

No, only 1st round picks have 5th year options.

Also FYI, 5th year options are designated by the team before the final year. That year also pays a lot more.
