I'd be all for firing Bud Selig. Hell, all the major sports commissioners suck. David Stern is the worst, followed by Selig, Gary Bettman, and Roger Goodell is the best of the worst.

Plus I doubt the MLBPA would be really down for the whole "Yeah, we're eliminating a high paying position... so yeeeah".

wow...DP 14 minutes apart....

My biggest issue w/ the DH (and yeah, I'm somewhat of a traditionalist...) is that the rule book calls for 9 starting players...the DH makes 10...

But really, baseball has a lot of problems to fix before this will ever be taken care of anyway...

Here's my playoff idea.. If they want to "expand" it..

Make the top two wild card teams in each league play game "163".. Then the winner goes into the playoffs like normal.

It adds one more playoff location.. If even for one day.
