On God's green earth...is Keith Bogans on this team?? Yes he finally made a couple 3s last night but man he just needs to never shoot!! He sucks at offense Id rather have Brewer out there

Bogans isn't the defender Brewer is, but he gambles less often and is stronger. That usually bodes better against the Wade's and Ray Allen's of the league. But, more importantly, he is undoubtedly a much better shooter than Brewer and stretches the floor for the Bulls' first unit.

Obviously, Korver is better at stretching the floor and offense in general. However, Korver is bound to get murdered by starting NBA wing scorers because he plays terribly ineffective defense.

I would still probably start Brewer, but I'm pretty indifferent about this.

Korver doesn't get murdered. he's not very good at defense, but he;s going to get the minutes any way. I dont understand why you wouldn't just play him with the starting lineup. Rose has improved on defense. Noah is a good help defender.

First of all, I want Bogans playing less minutes and Brewer getting at least 5 more.

Second of all, Bogans is shooting a decent percentage for 3 this season. And he does stretch the floor, relative to the defense, because he's getting all of the open shots that he wants. Do you think Ronnie Brewer would be taking three pointers or stretch the floor? Nope.

And I realize that Bogans has had a few major let downs on a few plays this season. But he does have some defensive up-side over Brewer who gambles a lot. Obviously, Brewer and Deng are better defenders as a whole. I wouldn't say otherwise.

And lastly, Korver gives a great effort on defense but he is ineffective defending any SGs in the league basically. And most starting SFs will straight up abuse him and expose his lack of strength, speed, and leaping ability.

bullshit. most 2's aren't that good. the nba doesnt have too many stars that are 2s. Not too many 2's are going to beat korver with their athleticism. Korver has good positional defense, he's just not athletic.

Aaron Affalo is actually a very athletic scorer. He could have a nice scoring game against the much weaker and slower Korver. Brandon Rush is having a good year also, so I don't know where that is coming from. He's way better than Kyle Korver.

Damn near EVERY two in the league can beat Korver with their athleticism. 3rd guards off the bench, etc. And what is positional defense on the perimeter without athleticism? You have to be quick to get yourself into position. Korver is slow...that is a main part of the problem.
