The Blackhawks still won after that. So they broke through the barrier. But yeah..had Mike Brown and Tommy Harris not gotten injured in the 06 season, I feel the Bears would have won the Super Bowl. The D would have dominated more and stopped the Colts rushing game that went off in that game and is really the difference maker in that game.

You don't believe in curses but believe in luck? :troll:

Maybe not luck per se, just very unfortunate. I think alot of the reason why Chicago don't win more regularly is because of poor management. I mean for years all the McCaskey's did was turned the Bears into a farm of players just to make money because they didn't care about winning (honestly I think they still don't). The same thing could be said about the Blackhawks as well except people wouldn't go see the Blackhawks when they sucked.

In the last 50 years, Chicago teams have won a grand total of 9 championships from the 4 major sports. 6 of those championships were obtained with the GOAT.

For the 3rd biggest city in America, it's pretty pathetic that we only have 1 Superbowl, 1 Stanley Cup in the last 50 years (which we only got a couple years ago) and 1 World Series with a team that nobody even cares about.

What a horseshit article.

LOL at Chicago being cursed.

The Cutler injury ended up being a blessing because it helped get Angelo out of town.

I find it hilarious too that while Wilbon mentions Butkus and his "bad knees". Literally every player from that era has them. :obama:.

No mention of Bo Farrington and Willie Galimore?

The only thing Chicago is "cursed" with is shitty writers like Wilbon

Did you count the Wolves and Fire in this number?

No. Because I meant the major league teams and no one really gives a shit about those two anyway.

Both injuries that Rose and Cutler suffered were over due as it is. They were basically asking for Jay to get decapitated behind that line. And rushing Rose back after his laundry list of injuries this season.. Come on Wilbon.
