Here's the thing about this tapeworm in the excreta of a game:</p>

Only Morin, Bickell, and Shaw were plusses. All three captains were minuses.  Crawford was an abyssmial .800 (and had a couple of soft goals).  The rest of the team wasn't much better and in some cases--worse.</p>

It is only one game where the wheels completely fell off, and yes, it will happen, I get that.  But it still needs to be addressed.  You don't shart and assume it's an isolated incident and eventually it will correct itself and not happen again; you look at what caused you to soil your dunghampers and address it so it will not happen again.</p>

Khabi was .750+ (6 goals on 25 shots) the game before.  Shore up the D, and have Crawford play in front of the net, instead of inside it.  I'm at a loss at how he's able to disappear inside the net at times with his size and all. flummoxed!</p>

The key on Crawford's stat was the soft goals.  Yes, Khabi was worse, but that's expected. </p>

You know me--my stance is "If the goaltender steals the game it's because the Team D fucked up." But IMHO Craw deserves the same ire as any skater who had a bad night last game--especially because he was playing so well in all the other games this year.</p>
