I was wondering what happened to Mr Culbertson ... I suppose it is a little hilarious finding this like a year and a half (or is it 2 and a half years) later.
Where is he now? Last I saw he was immortalized as a smiley here... anyways I had nothing against him - he was wrong about the 2009-10 Hawks - but you know pretty much everyone that writes about hockey is basically wrong about it 99.9% of the time, including me... so what? I mean it is only a hobby.
What I loved were playing drop in games with idiots that took things so seriously you'd have thought they thought they were actually being scouted for the then IHL (team in Kansas City -where I was playing drop in at the time). Actually come to think of it - it was so idiotic to take a recreational past-time and go out and actually try to make big hits in a just for fun environment .... I actually do think they thought they were getting scouted.
They weren't - they were simps.
It takes all kinds.
Oh and if you point out that someone is behaving less that intelligently on the ice, then they focus on the messenger (as I said - simps.).
