So the Bears added White and Royal this year. Will they fix Cutler? If not, what do we need to add? Maybe trade the rest of our picks for another first round pick and take another receiver?

only things that will help jay is a dominant o line and some bad ass RB's for him to hand the ball to

ND is horrible.
Jay's accuracy really regressed last yr. I am not convinced any external factors changing can "fix" him.

He looked bad in the majority of games throwing the ball last yr, period.

An improved OL, another young weapon, a better OC/game plan may help the numbers/results, but if his decision making and accuracy don't take a step, I don't see that as a "fixed" Jay Cutty.

He is probably going to be our starter this yr, so hope for the best with the understanding he is basically place holding unless something dramatic happens.

Unless they take away his ability to audible, that won't help either!

Just about everybody regressed under Tressman and co. Not just Cutler. I fully expect Cutler to have a better year. White, Royal and Jeffries will get more seperation. Cutler did better with worse receivers. Marshall and Jeffrey struggled with separation all year due to injury. How that will translate to wins, I don't know. But I fully expect Fox, Gase and Fangio to get more out of that team.

the better question is when will jay get off his lazy azz and work to improve as a Qb. Look at what a real Qb in Tom Brady does in his "spare time"

The Cutler narrative is getting old. The bad reputation for Cutler has been directly related to A.) The perception of fans and media that Jay Cutler has a bad attitude, B.) Constant changeover and consistently horrible coaches, and C.) The contract.

The attitude part is subjective. I think that it requires a great deal of hard work, dedication, and attitude just to get to the NFL level. No quarterback, not even Rodgers or Brady, would succeed in a state of constant changeover. Essentially, what cutler is, year in and year out, is a rookie learning a new playbook and scheme. The contract isn't on Jay. Emery was the dumbass who paid Cutler like he was Peyton Manning. Anyone with half a brain would have accepted that money. Here's hoping for a successful year 9 for Jay Cutler (aka his 6th rookie season learning a new offense.)
