Baylor receiver Levi Norwood:

Set school record with two punt-return touchdowns in 2013. …
Three-year starting receiver who caught 128 passes for 1,626 yards and 11 TDs. …
Baylor went 26-1 at home (40-12 overall) during his four seasons.

I have watched a decent amount of tape on him, and I see a lot of potential

Devin Hester -
- 2nd round pick out of the University of Miami
- Ran a 4.41 at the combine and had a 38 inch vertical
- Had 5 total returns for TD's in 2 years where he was the primary kick/punt returner in college.

Levi Norwood -
- Undrafted FA out of Baylor University
- Ran a 4.57 at his pro day and had a 34 inch vert. Draft profile says he lacks athleticism.
- Had 2 total returns for TD's in 4 seasons where he was the primary kick/punt returner in college.

No fucking way is he even close to the greatest kick returner of all time.

I see him as an antonio brown/ beckhman jr type of player. Great hands, quick to the ball, high vertical, ambitious attitude, quick feet, willing to block, good fakes, dosn't get scared up the middle, 90 degree cuts, buttonhook faker

Let Kevin White return kicks and punts if he is supposed to be so much better than Lockett.

How does their vertical leap have any thing to do with PR/KR? Are they going to hurdle over potential tacklers?

Firstly, the vertical jump test has a direct correlation in measuring the explosiveness of a player.

Secondly, it was used to show that Norwood is in no way shape or form near Hester's level of athleticism.

My guess is that it has to do with acceleration. In his prime, Devin was not only the fastest player in the nfl, he was also the quickest in a small space.

I hope Levi is the next Devin Hester but I highly doubt he even comes close

Asking if Norwood is the new Devin Hester, is like asking if Shane Carden is the new Peyton Manning. You're just making yourself look stupid and extremely naive.

Oh, **** me. Can you and HTJ get your own forum where you can ***** all day about how we didn't pick YOUR guy?

Awwww, poor you. Why would it bother you so much that a few people are pointing out needs not addressed in the draft when 97% of the people are blowing Pace for his picks.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago White Sox
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Miami Hurricanes
  2. Northern Illinois Huskies
Norwood was probably their 4th best receiver on the team this season. We should've gotten his teammate, Antwan Goodley as an UDFA instead of Norwood. He had a lot of production.

Because no amount of bitching and crying will change what has already transpired?

Hmm... so, DaaBears, sounds like you wanted Lockett.

He had about the same receiving stats as White, both Division I. it's over my head, but i'm sure theres a reason he was projected & taken in the 3rd rd.

White never did returns, and returns are Locketts specialty. White will have enough on his plate (which will likely be our #2 wideout), without learning to return.
