Yet Waldron's top three WR's all had over 60 receptions each. Two years in a row Waldron's offense has torched the Lions.
no doubt Waldron resurrected Smiths career, question is, how will he elevate a rookie with talent but no experience, only time will tell

Working with a very young Jared Goff in 2018 as the Rams passing game coordinator Goff put up the passing most passing yards and TDs of his career on the way to the Super Bowl. So, Waldron has worked with young QB's in the past.

I think that being a rookie, his main challenge will be holding the ball for too long for one of a few reasons. It could be that he wants a bigger shot downfield because he doesnt have the experience to just take what the defense gives. It could be that he is not yet used to "NFL open." Either way, these are typical rookie struggles to overcome.

It is no small thing how much the set of weapons have been revamped, so even showing an average rookie outing will be inflated by having elite weapons.

Depends on Caleb way more than the OL. Every starter on that line is a vet now. We should get if nothing else middle of the road production there.

Caleb is a rookie. Don’t know if we get Bryce Young or CJ Stroud.
All but our RT was a vet last year and RT wasn't a problem outside of his ding. There will again be OL dings. Yes, we hope and expect C is improved but if this looks better, it will have more to do with the coaching and QB.

Center is improved. Shelton was a middle of the road starter for two years now. That’s improvement. I think we all just wanted a long term answer on the team and that guy probably isn’t there.

I went with DJ simply because a D can't afford to shade him as much plus his run after catch ability. There will be more traffic where Allen runs his routes so RAC shouldn't be a great. Wild card is Odunze and while I suspect his YPC will be high, his his total yards will be lower with fewer opportunities.

I can accept that Shelton can handle the gig for a while. But working together as a unit, I am tepid on the interior OL until I see it work together.

I know Poles can't solve every issue at once, and that this year has already seen a significant amount of overturn in the starting offense. Even then, depth on the line remains a problem. By some luck, it might be the only problem on offense.
