Jay has no choice but to light it up. He has Alshon, Marty, Forte and now White and Royal. Insane group of playmakers.

I voted "Aaron Rodgers" meaning that is the type of year I expect out of Cutler.
Expecting Cutler to play like Rogers is kinda like expecting a donkey to win the Kentucky derby.***
*** Thank you to the late Doug Baffone for that analogy.
Which QB are you talking about? The OP thread title reads like a Special person wrote it.
:shibe::turtle:
**** you nick
Like last year? Marshall = White ...
lel.
He should have lit it up last year too. There is no excuse for his performance last season. He is surrounded by beasts. I do think White helps even more because of his skillset. Cutler won't be forced to make too many complicated reads and throws. Throw it up to Alshon or White and let them come down with it or hit White on some quick hits and watch him move.
Royal, Bennett and Forte all provide safety valves for Cutler to check down to, so I see no reason he shouldn't have success aside from his track record. With Fox stating he will limit the things Cutler can do in an attempt to simplify things for him I think we can see some better results. In terms of a playbook less is more with Cutler.

Really?
The whole team sucks, and it all comes back to coaching staff. Just absolutely horrendous. Trestmans offense was pretty predictable to most teams in league. Nothing different than every other stop of him as Coordinator.

No. Despite your continuous rants about Trestman's O regressing the biggest regression was clearly #6. Ever think Trestman had to scale the O down because Cutler was the 30th ranked QB in the NFL on passes over 5 yards?
If Cutler was playing within the confines of the system like his backup the year prior I highly doubt the Trestman system regressing narrative would hold any weight. I am not giving Trestman a free pass at all as the guy wasn't an NFL coach but he had an effective system without an effective QB.
With the group of playmakers Cutler has had he should be able to go out there and play backyard football and put up points. I think with Fox putting less on his plate and taking decisions out of his hand we will see an improved Cutler. Cutler may not have the brain to play at a high level but he has the arm so taking decisions out of his hand and forcing him to put the ball into the hands of the playmakers should help everyone.
The whole team sucked, but most of the team wasn't being paid more than anyone else in the NFL.

Who's fault is that?
Would you turn down a lucrative contract?
