On this one, I purposely proposed a trade 3 times. First one to the Raiders, swap #9 for #13 for just a 4th rounder. Second one was to the Bengals, swap #13 for #18 for just a 4th rounder. Third one was with Cowboys, swap #18 for #24 for just a 4th rounder.

I know I’m giving those positions for dirt cheap. But there were no offers, so I made the offer and my goal was to move done either way. So I gave them away for cheap. Basically force a trade down and it was too good of a price to pay to the other teams to move up in the 1st round. But those 4th rounders will help me next year to move up if I have to. This also puts me in a position to maybe have another team propose a trade as I go down and offer something better. I’m creating opportunities.

I still got my 4 picks and I pick up 2025 picks. My first pick is a top 3 DE in this draft. Still got a steal. Even if he wasn’t on the board, I would have gone with Byron Murphy II. He is a top 2 DT in this draft.

Plenty of picks next year for O-Line next year or trades next year or later in this season.

This was me forcing trades to benefit from. If you want more picks this year, you can swap for 2024 picks instead of 2025 picks.

Every team below me wanted to trade up. Stopped when the giants wanted to move to 5. Fun few minutes on a Monday.

Here is another example for forcing trades that gave me an opportunity to gain two picks in the 50s with adding late 2025 6th round picks in the trades and what I got earlier.

No way Raiders say no to giving up a 4th to move up to get JJ McCarthy.

Bengals moved up for just a 4th to get top tier OTs.

The opportunities I was waiting for:

Dolphins traded with me and I got the #55 pick out of it

Bucs traded with me and I got the #57 pick out of it.

I did this on purpose and these are subpar draft trades for cheap. This was with not getting an offer from the Raiders or the Bengals. I wanted to show what can happen at its worse. No way Raiders don’t offer something better to get JJ McCarthy. The Vikings would be calling too. Possibly the Jets too to replace Aaron Rodgers when he retires.so we should get more in return.

Our drafting for superstars early is for next year. We’ll be set up perfectly for that.

Our day to draft superstars early in the draft is for next year. We trade down this year from #9 in small jumps and accumulate at least one 2024 40 - 60 round pick and also 2025 picks if possible. Someone is going to give a 2025 1st or 2nd to move up this year. Superstars can be had next year if we have two 1st round picks or 1st round and three 2nd rounders. Plus every other draft picks. We can even move up to areas we want with all that capital in play.

Don’t worry guys, there will be superstars in next year’s draft too.

Possibilities below.

It's amazing how real GM's screw up drafts so bad. I'm always able to come out with a solid draft even when other teams throw curveballs.
