Pearsall is a popular guy at 75. I like him a lot. Good hands, would be an excellent slot/crossing/slant/possession guy. Our own Wes Welker. Especially if we don't get a top WR at 9.

It is never time for mocks, they literally have no value...
To add to my other response. I also considered I'd make this thread so we wouldn't have a 1/2 dozen different ones on the 1st page. I find them a bit more interesting after FA and sometimes good ideas blossoms. The trade 3 picks for 10 is always fun but they're not realistic. GMs have targets and they'll just pull the trigger if there.

As for the draft, I suspect the Bear get one of the top 3 WRs or trade down with Alt being the only other player they might stay at 9 for but I suspect they stick with a very serviceable Braxton Jones for at least another year. I feel Latu, Chop and Murphy are better DL fits than Turner plus there's still catchers available like Bowers and Mitchel depending on how far they would move.

The more I play with it, the more im buying in to the idea that using a pick or 2 from next year to move up into the Mitchell/Worthy/Franklin/Legette tier of WRs in the early 2nd is the best way to go. KC took worthy in this one (i would bet they go Mitchell instead) but I dont think ive seen a better first 3 picks than Williams/Verse/Mitchell-Worthy-Franklin. I know one of the mods made a trade up thread earlier this year and I laughed at the idea but he may have been on to something.

That was my initial thought too but given how deep this WR draft is im not sure Bears will have the opportunity to grab the same caliber of player with their 2nd next year as Adonai Mitchell in this example. I also really like trading back for a 2nd and taking Latu for similar reasons, but if using a future 2nd gets the Bears Turner or Verse and one of Mitchell/McConkey/Worthy/Franklin/Coleman then im not sure that isnt worth the cost. Not fully there yet but im getting pretty close.

Given how deep this WR class is I think you can find a starter at pick 75. (Without sacrificing a starter in next year’s draft)

I agree that if both the Texas WR's are their for the Chiefs that they go with A.Mitchell over Worthy, at least i know i would and it would be an easy choice.

Next year's draft is overall much deeper.
