Wow the Cubs hitters just don't have it. This is by far this teams weakness. If we lose this game it's gonna be because we didn't hit. Not because the Indians pitched great.

Cubs looked better in game 1 than they have so far today, from a hitting standpoint anyway. The BP has been pretty fucking good and Hendricks really gutted it out. Hopefully they can get a bloop and a blast and end this game. Would really take the wind out of Cleveland. It's just hard to see with how they have swung the bats so far.

The ONLY thing that gives me some hope about Lackey is that he will call them out hard if they go out there and look like idiots. People can say what they want about him but that dude consistently plays with passion and this team sorely needs that. I felt like he really provided an emotional lift the last time he played. I've gotta find something to believe in I guess...

You talking this series? Cubs didn't look bad at the plate in Game 1. They've looked horrible so far tonight.

No.. I sound like a disappointed fan watching a talented offense going up against an ok starter at home in a world series and basically look like shit and score 1 fukn run..

Tomorrow, their going to face a better starter..their Ace who they couldn't touch in Game 1.. While the Cubs will have their 4th starter Lackey, who hasn't been all that great..

So, yea.. For me, I guess you can say losing this game pretty much gets the nail out of the box for them.

I agree totally. I was texting my buddy the same thing earlier. They've basically just walked up. Got the count to full. Struck out. Walked back to the dugout with zero passion. Rinse. Repeat.
