Looking like there won't be a WS win at Wrigley for 72 years

7 batters. 3 strike outs looking and Baez - the most undisciplined hitter I've seen all season - strikes out on garbage yet again.

Only two innings in but another pathetic offensive performance

Cubs just need 1 big swing. They are due.

Thats the problem

9 guys all trying for the 1 big swing and 3 run Homer to win the game despite nobody being on base in the 2nd inning

Stop guessing
Stop swinging at balls
Stop taking strikes
Start swinging at fastballs early in the count

What kind of a dufus comes to a Chicago board when his team is bordering on winning their first WS in a thousand years?

Never under estimate the power of stupidity.

One who had no friends to go out with on a night his team could win a championship. Sad.

That mindset is their problem. They just need to take some walks, put the ball in play, and maybe bunt a guy or two over. This "1 big swing" mindset is why they're swinging at shit.
Exactly. Watch pitches, make contact and put the ball in play. Play smart, not "hero ball". Right now, Cleveland's hitters are better and they're pitchers are better. Sad but true.

Been clamoring for small ball forever... If the Cubs do not attempt to do this. There is no way they win this series, let alone this game... It''s the small things that wins the WS, not the random home run...

If they can't get to Bauer the second time through with the heart of the order next inning this thing is done. They all look completely lost and Bauer has thrown a few very hittable pitches right down the middle.

I've followed the Blackhawks over the years and never once went to the other teams MB (much less thought about it) while the Hawks were beating them in the playoffs.
Trooper Bob is making a statement for himself.
