My car is made of about 85% German parts and I avoid things "Made in China" like the plague. **** those assholes.

I've driven on the Lake Pontchartrain Causeway before. I think that's like 23 miles long or so. Sort of a weird feeling to be out in the middle of the water on a bridge.

Me too. I freak out on the bridge between Louisville and Indiana, which I don't think is even a mile long. Lol

Probably a hell of a lot safer than the POS bridges we have going over the Mississippi here in my town.

I give it one hurricane until that thing goes down.

Apparently it's supposed to be earthquake and typhoon proof. Another thing I read said it could take a hit from a 300,000-ton vessel. For comparisons sake, the largest cruise ship in existence is Royal's Oasis of the Seas. That comes in at about 225,000 tons.
