Who is the guy(s) who you don’t want to see as head coach. I’m a no a McCarthy. He would still be the best HC we’ve had in a long time, but he’s not so good in the playoffs.

Weaver, Smith, Brown, Kafka, Riveria, Petzing, Shaw, Flores, Campbell, Freeman

Basically half of the list if not more.

David Shaw, and I've been a big fan and supporter of his. He hasn't had any meaningful coaching in a couple of years, and those last few years at Stanford were not great. Again, I'm a big fan of his so I don't say this lightly.

That said: I'd love for him to be involved in the organization in some form or fashion.

The GB OC.....didn't we just go down this road with a GB OC? Or was Getsy (sp) not an OC at the time?

Arthur Smith would have to to be the worst candidate out of all the names I've heard. Atlanta fans hated him and im sure he won't be back in Pittsburgh either
And the sports' radio guys down here just crushed Smith for his blundering and stubbornness defending his actions and decisions, especially so the most knowledgeable among them. He was a bad, bad HC.

But the worst on my list are Mike Kafka, Pete Carroll, and ALL of the defensive coordinators!

I think the most 'out there' candidates were Drew Petzing and David Shaw....even for the Bears, those were some really obscure candidates.
