They’re both going to be fired in a few years. You think trading essentially a first rounder for a WR (Claypool) who was going to get cut is worse than the Trubisky trade?

Oh nevermind, you're essentially a doctor.

Is that all you see?
Lol man I’m surprised by how triggered you all got from this thread. Yes it’s partially clickbait and trolling. Chill out.

Even for a tear down, 3 win season is terrible though. Bears have been in a position to and should have won several more games. Some of that is on coaching. Poles didn’t have a ton to work with but what he did with what he had kinda sucked, especially taking low value positions in safety and cornerback as the first picks.

But yes it’s a joke thread. They’re not as bad as Trestman and Emery, not yet at least.

I'm more triggered by having the #2 or #3 pick next year

I asked a 4 worded question...you respond with paragraphs and I'm triggered? That's hilarious.

Well everyone responded in 4 word posts so my response was to everyone together. The amount of words ended up being the same

This season can't really have gone any better. Fields has proven he's a dynamic playmaker and franchise QB while the defense has been bad enough to lose games to secure a big time draft pick. Bonuses are the development of guys that were looking like potential busts in Jenkins and Kmet, good you acquisitions in Brisker, Jones and Sanborn (and Gordon still possibly). Also resurgence of Eddie Jackson.

All ideal for a teardown/rebuilding year.

It’s one thing to consider what they took over, and another what they leave the bears with.

Payton is one of the goat coaches so I don’t get this comment. What team right now outside of a select few wouldn’t want Sean Payton?
Could he break the cycle of a HC winning a SB with 2 different teams?

We have seen Poles tear down a team, but that is the easy part. Any of us can do that for a much smaller salary.

The real test is whether Poles can build a team. TBH, I haven't really seen anything worth writing home about so far.
