I can totally see it, especially if the Bears move to Arlington. There could be an opportunity to market a more city-central team that competes against a stronger heritage brand ( i.e. Nets + Knicks or even Sox + Cubs ). They could even slot them in the AFC to avoid cannibalizing the CHI / GB rivalry. If the money is there, everything's a possibility – the question is are cities viable anymore against a rising WFH revolution & subsequent urban flight?

If the Bears want to go play in rural Illinois I'd be glad to switch allegiances to a city team.

Can’t see it. I think a city like OKC would make more sense than a second Chicago team at this point

What about if an NFL team were in New York City?

Don't care. I'll still have the Bear. Hey, the Cardinals can move back to their origins. The more the merrier. Won't affect the Bear one bit. And when they get tired of Soldier Field they can play in Arlington on off weeks, just like NY. In fact it would be the more likely scenario. Bears could swing them a better deal for a better venue.
:p

So all they have to do is relocate the Bears to the Chicago suburbs, expand the League, and add a 2nd NFL Team to Chicago and then you will leave this board for your new teams message board? That’s certainly a positive. #weedoutfakefans

They'd be the White Sox of Chicago; better than the Bears.

Everyone in OKC is a Cowboys fan already though.

yeah, so? When the Texans started, they were all cowboy fans too. The state of Oklahoma is football crazed. They would embrace an nfl team more than Chicago would a second team(you know they are all baerz fans rite?!)

Great, so we can screw up TWO teams. Unless it's a north side vs south side, or city vs suburbs, I can't see it working here. We can't get ONE team right. LOL

Sox are probably the best team in town at the moment...if you're talking about the product on the field.
