Game 6 was the single most important Cubs game in seven decades and Kyle Hendricks had to be better than the best pitcher on the planet with an entire city and national media audience watching him, and he exceeded all reasonable expectations. That you've dismissed this as a "no pressure situation" is not only wildly inaccurate, it is--in a strong field--one of the most bizarrely unhinged baseball thoughts I've ever read on this forum.

Arrieta had a good game against baumgarner. Hopefully he steps up, he must be one of the more important players.

Arrieta has been fine against right-handers, it's the lefties and the lack of his wipeout 2015 slider that's caused him problems. The Dodgers were a bad matchup for him.
