I don't work with hardware but I code. I find people picking sides over hardware to be moronic. People buy what they buy, and like what they like. Get the **** over it.

I always say, Apple does not make any BAD products IMO.... they make expensive products which people take to mean they are vastly different/better and to me they are not.

I do not like their software or how they box you up in their proprietary world, but for people who like it and can afford it, I say enjoy it.

I just find it hilarious to see shock and disbelief on the faces of iMac users when I tell them there is no difference in hardware between an Apple computer and a generic PC with Windows on it besides the case with the Apple logo. You pay for their software and their proprietary little world and if you pay for your iMac and then put Windows on it you might just be the biggest hipster fucktard on the planet lol.

EDIT: And for the record, I have an uncle who has loved Apple for their entire existence.... always bought Apple for home and I revealed the whole Apple hardware is the same as PC hardware nugget and he, a 20+ year Apple customer did not believe this. I had to pull up the specs on his laptop and be like look Intel processor, Intel mobo, same memory that is in my laptop, etc before he would admit Apple did not manufacture their own hardware lol. Apple users are genuinely under the impression in many cases that Apple makes this magic box and its not made out of the same stuff as a generic PC.

Enjoy it if you like it but some people believe Apple manufactures their own hardware which is false.

Apple does not make magic boxes of wonder, they make PCs with different logos and different software.

Everyone is free to choose what they like, I tell no one not to use Apple, but I tell them I do not prefer Apple products.

All I did was provide examples where truly Apple users were shocked to find out their machines are the same as PCs underneath, and I find it funny. Sue me for finding something like that funny I guess.

I agree, but I enjoy the banter with Omelet.

I run many OS's and have Apple products. Just because I don't care for them, doesn't mean I hate them. I hate the fanboys that claim to know a lot about computing, but then say they always have problems with one or the other to distract themselves from the fact that they may not know as much about computing after all. I have no issues with the majors and most minor system standards, but run a linux based distro 80% of the time. That suits my needs, and it's good enough for me. Everyone else can figure out what they like for themselves.
