As much as I'm not a believer in this, I'll spread it through twitter.

Send LeBron to Chicago

Just wanted to link you guys to a site that we're going to be partnering up with in the near future. We are going to be their Forum. Hopefully this brings in more Chicago Bull fans :)

I found this site on the net and was impressed. Hopefully this will get blasted into the mainstream media and get some attention. When LeBron played against the Bulls in the playoffs, not going to lie...I hated him.

However the second he puts on a Bulls uniform, I will be first in line to go buy a jersey. :lmao:

Here is the "About" page.

timthumb.php

exactly 100% the same...I HATE him right now and I want him nowhere near this team, but if he signs here, im sure ill warm up to the idea. lol :D

Alright guys, with LeBron's cavaliers potentially being eliminated tonight, this is a great time to jumpstart this movement. Feel free to add onto the list ways to spread the word. As SL2C.Com is going to be linking to us as their forum, it will be beneficial to all involved.....so let's brainstorm some ways to get this noticed.

1. Tell all your facebook friends about the site/invite to fan page
2. Tweet about it on twitter.
3. Forum Signatures and website banners
4. Email the media, newspapers, blogs, etc.
5. Link to the site on forums/sites you post on elsewhere
6. Call in to the radio and talk about it (670 the score, am 1000, WGN etc)
7. Comment sections of blogs for Chicago sports
8. ChiCitySports home page article
9. Have flyers made up, pass around downtown Chicago (need a DT chicago native)

Hey Guys,

I wrote a piece on SendLeBrontoChicago.com and gave my own personal opinion of why LeBron could come to Chicago.

Give it a read: Could Rondo's Play Convince LeBron to Come Play with D-Rose? My Thoughts on that and www.sendlebrontochicago.com

Basically, my point is LeBron has some options. He's obviously seen how important it is to have a great point guard running the show. He's now played Rondo and Rose in the first 2 rounds of the playoffs. They've both done damage. He can stick around and hope that he wins a title with Mo Williams, or he can come to Chicago and own the league for the next decade and a half with a 21 year old Derrick Rose (not to mention a 25 year old Joakim Noah). If his number one goal is to win a title, then he has to realize that his best chance to do it in the long-run is to come to the Bulls. And winning a title absolutely should be his number one goal, especially if he gets bounced tonight.

The odd thing is, I actually got into contact with David from DaBullsEye, and found SendLebronToChicago later through twitter. Then I found out the main article on his site was talking about the website I had just found about having LeBron shipped to Chicago. If (and when ;)) Cleveland loses tonight, expect a HUGE movement to start.

The internet is an odd place. :)

Site looks good. Although for me, I'd much rather have Bosh, or some free agent that can dominate in the paint. Give a 1,2 punch with Noah at power forward and center. we don't need another star in my opinion. Derrick Rose has already established himself as that. This may be just me, but LeBron comes off really arrogant and cocky. Not particularly my first choice for the Bulls in free agency.

I gotta say, I definitely disagree with Frizzy. With a couple of scorers/superstars who can take over the game like Rose and LeBron, we don't need a big man beyond Joakim Noah. Jordan and Pippen didn't have a big man really even that close to Noah's talent. And I'm not comparing the tandem of Jordan/Pippen to LeBron/Rose, but in today's NBA, that tandem would become the best 1/2 tandem in basketball.

Plus maybe we can bring in someone like Jermaine O'Neal who can at least offer SOMETHING in the post. Bottom line, to pass up LeBron and go for Bosh would mean passing up an opportunity to create a dynasty around these 2 players for the next decade and a half. With Rose and Bosh, you don't have that chance for a dynasty.

And we gotta get AJ on television spot. Like a feature on SportsNation or 1st and 10...a mention in a random ESPN.com article isn't enough...in due time...

I respect your opinion, but you say "pass on LeBron" like it's a done deal. Rumors are the only thing floating around right now. The reason I feel so strongly about this is that, without Noah in the game, the Bulls' second chance points just flat out suck. Stats show that throughout the whole season. Noah is responsible for holding down the paint. Brad Miller's a big oaf, they seriously need to get rid of him. I'm just saying we have enough talent around the outside, Taj, Rose, Hinrich. Let's build the inside a little.

Hey guys,

A story about the site www.wewantwade.com is the 1st headline on the NBA front page on espn.com.

Miami Heat launch website to keep Dwyane Wade in Miami - ESPN

Apparently, it was started by the Miami Heat. I hope Wade isn't turned off by the fact that our fans started a LeBron page instead of a Wade one. Haha. But at least it looks better that our fans are the ones starting sites instead of the organization being forced to do it.

Anyway, if that page can get on the front page...surely sendlebrontochicago.com can get a main feature as well.

That was started by their ORGANIZATION, not the fans.

I think that says a lot about whose site is more fan-friendly ;)

I love how the site is getting love from ESPN and SI, expect that to grow as July 1st gets closer.
