Well? What did everyone think of the re-launch? I enjoyed it. It wasn't the best episode I've ever seen by any means. But it didn't totally crash and burn. From what I've read the next two episodes get better.

Yes. Each episode introduces a few words in alien language. By the time you hit the new season, the whole episode has next to no english. Yar par meep tupe my friends.

I'd think so. They try to catch people up at the beginning who are new to the show but I think most of the humor and inside jokes would go right over your head if you're new to the show.

It was ok. You would think after all Scully has seen, she would be a little less skeptical but I suppose that is the role she is suppose to serve in the show but geez. I thought they did a nice job of linking in all the stuff that happened since the first show ended with the conspiracy and seeing all the familiar faces come back including one of my all time favorites at the very end was great.

I mean obviously it will be better to have seen the older episodes but it is not really required as the first episode does a decent enough job of laying out what the X-files were and how it comes into play 10-15 years later. Of course when you first see some of the recurring characters you won't get a sense for how deep or tortured some of the relationships were but that is to be expected.

Just watched the first two episodes. Loved them. Very much captures the feel of the old episodes. David Duchovny did not age well. Hope they get picked up for a whole season.

Is it just me or are they trying a little bit too hard to like remind the audience that this is X-Files in 2016?

I mean I know alot about the world has changed, especially technology, but the writers seem to need to remind you like 2-3 times an episode that "OMG DIS IS X-FILES IN 2016!"
