My favorite teams
I hate it.
Don't disagree, but at some point, you have to get a power back in this draft.I can't figure myself out on what the biggest or best need is to go with at #10 but i think i'm sticking with pass rush as being the biggest need. We don't know what we'll get from Dayo and we know from what we've seen his entire career so far that Sweat will top out around 9 - 10 sacks in a season but hopefully with better help on the inside with the addition of G.Jarrett that will help both of them. After Sweat and Dayo the cubbard is pretty damn empty with young guys we're just hoping give more but there's nothing special there.
I do like K.Grant at #10 because he has what it takes to be that great disruptor on the inside that can stop the run and create power to get through the line and put pressure on the QB.
So in the 1st, whether it's at #10 or hopefully with a trade down give me pass rush and then get the best T you can in the 2nd round.
Absolutely. If it doesn't work out that they can get a RB they truly want to come in and have the ability to take over then they should still draft one late and then sign someone cheap in free agency like, Nick Chubb, JK Dobbins orJamaal Williams and seeing who ends up taking the #2 and #3 spots out of whoever they draft late, whichever of those three free agents i mentioned and Roschon Johnson and I.Wheeler.Don't disagree, but at some point, you have to get a power back in this draft.
For whatever it's worth, Harbaugh does seem aggressive in the draft historically.#10. TRADE
Chargers send #22, #55, and #86 (Value of 1290 points)
for the Bears #10 pick (1300 points)
...(Chargers then select Tyler Warren as another weapon for Harbaugh & Herbert)
I love the Winston pick in the 3rd. I think he's a stud.
I actually did the whole mock using a draft simulator that provided that trade. I'd probably have targeted the Broncos for Jeanty or the Seahawks for a trade down. For whatever it's worth, Harbaugh does seem aggressive in the draft historically.
Here is a quick rundown of his teams' drafts in the 1st two rounds.
2011
1st - LB
2nd - QB (traded up for this pick)
2012
1st - WR
2nd - RB
2013
1st - S (traded up for this pick)
2nd - DE
2nd - DE (traded up for this pick)
2014
1st - S
2nd - RB (traded up for this pick)
2024
1st - OT
2nd - WR (traded up for this pick)
I love the Winston pick in the 3rd. I think he's a stud.
Regardless of who the target is, I think we can agree Harbaugh historically has shown he's willing to move up. Will he? Who knows... but I like mocking him to move up. It can be TE... can be a RB (I know they signed Najee... it's a garbage 1 year deal.)... can be a LB even. Harbaugh isn't very predictable, but we know he doesn't just go with the flow of what everyone else thinks is the right thing to do.I actually did the whole mock using a draft simulator that provided that trade. I'd probably have targeted the Broncos for Jeanty or the Seahawks for a trade down.
The trade was fair but perhaps a bit too aggressive for a TE imo. All in all I think too many people take themselves a little too serious as if they know everything about building a roster or have anything logical to add. But since this isnt my #FIRSTDAYONCCS
I'm used to it.
I hate it.
I hate it.No trades... Building inside out but hitting the needs…
They would have insurance at OT and could kick Kiran inside.
I’ve added 3 young guys to the defensive line including two edge players that fit the Allen model. There’s a new safety and a prospect to add to the TE room. Imagine an edge rotation with Dayo, Sweat, Booker, JT, and Williams. Plus, Dayo can kick inside when needed.
I grabbed a RB that is talented at a fantastic value too.
Trenches!
I hate it.I don't care for mocks with trade downs. Not saying we shouldn't but sort of dismiss the generated ones... The format is multiplying poor need and value assumptions in those. The draft crap shoot just becomes crappier.
Here's another for the crapper, LOL.
