I talked about this with a buddy last night and though Brysgalov is pretty salty, and Thomas can stand on his head, I think I'd take Rinne first if I were looking for a goalie.

Thomas is like a hundred, and Rinne is 2 years younger than Brysgalov and he makes some Special person saves.

I honestly wouldn't have Luongo in my top 20. That's not just because I hate him or because he's a whiny crying *****, it's because he tends to go completely off the reservation and you just can't have that mentality in a goalie. Hell I'd rather have Schneider, his backup. That's when the Western Conference is screwed, when they realize their best netminder is on the bench.

He's got a ton of skill, no doubt. I wonder what he'd look like with a franchise that can score just as well as they can play defense. Nashville isn't there on the offensive half just yet.

And I'm with you on Luongo, you can't have a guy in the Top 10 if he was benched in Game 6 of a playoff series.

Agree.

Thomas is who you take if you have to win a game today. Rinne is who I'd take for now and the future. He's fantastic. Him and his clone Lindback is as desirable a pair of goalies as you can find.
