31. Reggie Williams, Golden State Warriors (last year: unranked)
30. Grant Hill, Phoenix Suns (last year: 23rd)
29. Carlos Delfino, Milwaukee Bucks (last year: unranked)
28. Omri Casspi, Sacramento Kings (last year: unranked)
27. Mickael Pietrus, Orlando Magic (last year: 29th, but at shooting guard)
26. Jared Dudley, Phoenix Suns (last year: unranked)
25. Shane Battier, Houston Rockets (last year: 17th)
24. Hedo Turkoglu, Phoenix Suns (last year: 10th)
23. Josh Childress, Phoenix Suns (last year: unranked)
22. Marvin Williams, Atlanta Hawks (last year: 12th)
21. Wilson Chandler, New York Knicks (last year: 25th)
20. Shawn Marion, Dallas Mavericks (last year: 23rd, but as a power forward)
19. Trevor Ariza, New Orleans Hornets (last year: 16th)
18. Travis Outlaw, New Jersey Nets (last year: 20th)
17. Richard Jefferson, San Antonio Spurs (last year: ninth)
16. Ron Artest, Los Angeles Lakers (last year: 13th)
15. Tayshaun Prince, Detroit Pistons (last year: 21st)
14. Nicolas Batum, Portland Trail Blazers (last year: 30th)
13. Caron Butler, Dallas Mavericks (last year: sixth)
12. Corey Maggette, Milwaukee Bucks (last year: 15th)
11. Danilo Galinari, New York Knicks (last year: unranked)
10. Rudy ***, Memphis Grizzlies (last year: 18th)
9. Andrei Kirilenko, Utah Jazz (last year: 24th, but as a power forward)
8. Luol Deng, Chicago Bulls (last year: 19th)
After a year or two in the wilderness, Luol finally got his wits about him in 2009-10, averaging 17.6 points and 7.3 rebounds alongside his typically sound defense. Deng also chipped in about a steal and block per game, and this is important: Luol came in at under two turnovers a game for the sixth time in a six year career. I understand that his mid-range, rarely-dribbling game doesn't see him taking many chances, but to be able to field a solid-scoring forward for nearly 38 minutes a game and see him turn it over just 1.9 times per? Good stuff.
7. Paul Pierce, Boston Celtics (last year: fifth)
6. Danny Granger, Indiana Pacers (last year: fourth)
5. Andre Iguodala, Philadelphia 76ers (last year: eighth, but at shooting guard)
4. Gerald Wallace, Charlotte Bobcats (last year: seventh)
3. Carmelo Anthony, Denver Nuggets (last year: third)
2. Kevin Durant, Oklahoma City Thunder (last year: second)
1. LeBron James, Miami Heat (last year: first)

Deng getting some credit as one of the underrated SF's in the NBA. when he is healthy he is good.

Deng at #8? Seems a bit high given his injury risk, but looking at the people behind him, how many could you really argue for? Rudy ***?

If I had to make a case for the #6 spot (behind LeBron, Durant, Carmelo, Pierce, and Granger), I would put Rudy ***. Then Andre Iguodala at 7.

Those 8-20 spots are very close. I don't understand what Iggy has done to warrant #5. Granger and PP should be ahead of him. *** should also move up to #8 right behind Iggy. He will probably pass him this year.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago White Sox
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Nebraska Cornhuskers
  2. Villanova Wildcats
I would take...

Batum/Williams/Butler/Ariza and their contracts over Deng and his contract any day of the week.

Iggy is too high. Otherwise I pretty much agree with this list.

Maggette at 24?

*** that high?

I think Maggette is just too much of a chucker to put him up much higher than 24... and 24th isn't that bad considering it is implied that he would be starting on most teams. I've always consider Maggette a cancerous player. I know he is one of the best player in the NBA at drawing fouls, but he is much like Vince Carter in the sense that he is way too passive about attacking the rim. Except at least Vince Carter has considerably more athleticism than Maggette. Maggette is a decent rebounder for 6'6''... but he is a noticeably below average defender at his position.

As for ***... the only one I'd consider putting ahead of him is Andre Iguodala...
