6. ***
7. Iguodala
8. Wallace
9. Artest
10. Butler
11. Luol Deng

14. Trevor Ariza
15. Al Thornton
16. Tayshaun Prince
17. Travis Outlaw
18. Mickael Pietrus
19. Grant Hill
20. Josh Howard (injuries have really slowed him down)
21. Matt Barnes
22. Hedo Turkoglu (isn't very effective anymore)
23. Richard Jefferson
24. Corey Maggette
25. Nicholas Batum
26. Jamario Moon
27. Danilo Gallinari
28. Marvin Williams
29. Andrei Kirilenko
30. Andres Nocioni
31. Corey Brewer
32. Tracy McGrady
33. Jared Dudley
34. Ryan Gomes
35. Peja Stojakovic

Artest is worse than deng at this point and Butler is equal to him at best. If Deng can be repectable from three this year, I'd easily take him over both of those guys.

Granger is a vastly superior scorer. I'd happily take a 24-25 ppg scorer over iggy or deng.

This is the one that caught my eye too. Not only would I prefer him for the Bulls but in a vacuum I'd take Granger too. The last two years Granger put up PERs of 19.8 and 21.8 vs. 16.1 and 14.7. Tell me which you'd rather have.

Oh, and hello ChiCitySports.

Granger is both two years older and only been to the playoffs once, his rookie year. Deng has been the close second or third best player on three playoff teams. Granger to this point hasn't done anything but put up numbers for a lottery team. Deng may not have the flash, but he's got a very solid game and is a top 10 SF.

I love how Bulls' fans go from hating on Deng to ridiculous extremes for the entire blockbuster part of free-agency, say all sorts of ridiculous b.s. because of his contract (which isn't even that bad), but now... all of the sudden he is a hands-down top 10 SF?

Come on...

Deng has no handles for a 3 guy. He lives in the corner to get his 35%+ 3-pt percentage last season... He's pretty good... but to say that he's better than Artest and Butler... and to even make a case for him to be up there with Danny freakin' Granger??!

Seriously...

Granger is a much better fit for this team skill set wise. I'd rather have the him as the third option and spreading the floor. His defense and rebounding might not be as good but we have one of the best rebounding front courts and a good wing defender with Brewer. I think a Granger for Deng swap would make us a contender and a top offensive team. I know we look balanced on paper but contenders have that third scoring option and Deng isn't it.

Granger is far better offensively than Deng, no questions. He has range, and all the handles and moves you would need from a 3. Defensively, Deng might have an edge, and I forget the rebounding numbers, but at this point, with Noah and Boozer probably averaging double digit rebounds no problem, a couple rebounds at the SF spot isn't that big a deal. I'd say in the end, Granger is better.

he can post up, and he's equal/if not better on the defensive end. I'd like to see a danny granger on our team. However, before i completely jump the gun to the granger bandwagon, i'm willing to give deng a chance under a 'REAL' coach. He might just need to take a few more corner 3's.

You do have a point. If Deng starts taking and making corner 3's with consistency at about a 35%-38% clip, his scoring numbers could go from 17-18 ppg to like 20-21 ppg. Plus, it might get him out of that annoying habit of shooting 2 pointers from a step inside the 3 point line. lol
