i understand that i do, but all of the other stuff the distraction he causes when he is struggling... i say keep him (unless the offer is too good) til the trade deadline then deal him cause you know we will not resign him see what you can get out of him. I still hate him though. Him going 8-0 could help his trade value too so if it is a good deal ship him off.

He won't have the mindset that he had in the 2nd half..

It's Zambrano.

If we actually get something back for him, I say trade him.

I highly doubt he will waive his no trade clause

I wouldn't be surprised...go from the Cubs to the Yankees? I mean, he's a die-hard if he doesn't prefer that.

He's said before that he wouldn't waive his No-Trade Clause to go anywhere, so I'm ignoring this rumor.

you trust Zambrano to keep his word? The same guy that bragged about the red shin-guards that Yadier Molina sent him? The same guy that got in a fight w/ Derrek Lee...and Michael Barrett....and....the list goes on.

I'm not saying he will or won't...I just don't understand why people would believe anything he says.

So because he fights a lot he is untruthful on his word?

not necessarily, but it shows he cares more about Carlos than Chicago.

He won't replicate that success. His xFIP was 4.42 last season, 1.09 points higher than his ERA. I'd trade him now and get rid of his salary.

Hendry not going to sign Pena and Wood then trade BIG Z...he wants to win now...the owner prolly wishes BIG Z would leave to save his CHEAP ASS some money

Yes, because the owner is being cheap for wanting payroll flexibility by trading Z while he's still wanted.

Flexibility....have u seen what PHI and BOS have done......CUBS are a big market team. they need to start acting like it. NO REASON they cant spend as much as those 2 teams

First, they sign Mark Prior. Now the rumors about Zambrano. Is Larry Rothschild trying to reassemble his 2003 pitching staff?
