Most of the time I will keep the top and side panels on. I crack them if I am playing an especially demanding game. But, mostly they stay closed.

Temps are fine, though I have not run a benchmark or played anything extra demanding yet.

Part of it is just cause my box is so big so its pretty easy to get most of the shit out the way.

I haven't been keeping up with graphics cards for a few years. I have dual 570 GTXs from when I built my rig a few years ago. Do you think I should upgrade to something newer, or wait it out for the next generation of card?

Well, the 970's that are out are probably the best deal Nvidia has had in a long time. But really it comes down to whether you are able to play the games you want to. If you haven't been frustrated by not being able to play games or having to turn settings all the way down, then there is probably no reason to upgrade.
