Boutte and Addison > JSN. Don’t draft pre-injured players. Especially ones who are getting outplayed by Marvin Harrison’s kid.
If Skroronski is there he should be the guy. Or LT is still going to be a joke.
It's weird to hate on Smith-Njigba's being "pre-injured" when Addison is also currently injured and Boutte has been injured in all 3 of his years in Baton Rouge. Not to mention the fact that it's October, and the draft is in April. He won't be "pre-injured" in April, unless he has literally the worst hamstring injury in the history of the world or he has a completely different injury. Also, odd to fault him for being outproduced when he's not been playing. If you are going to fault him for being outplayed by Harrison Jr, you should probably go look up last year's numbers, when they both played. And even if you throw out Harrison's numbers because Olave and Wilson were there, they both did start the bowl game where JSN outproduced Harrison by 9 catches and 270 yards.
***Not saying that makes JSN better than Harrison or vice versa, just saying that your logic is very bad.***
And I like Skoronski, but you're probably kidding yourself if you think Poles is going to be so quick to move off his boy, Braxton after 1 season. Jones was basically given the starting LT job before pads even came on because of his potential. They aren't going to play him 17 games at LT just to sit him on the bench for another rookie, maybe they move him to RT but if Braxton keeps the starting LT job from August to January, he isn't going to be benched in April. A 5th round pick may not be a huge investment, but it's an investment nonetheless. And even if he wasn't starting, it makes no sense to NOT keep Jones (and Borom) who are making chump change contracts in a salary capped league.
