1) how do you know either of your statements are true on Fields/Morel?
2) everyone? Right now all Youkie is showing is that he doesn't have it offensively and would show a much poorer d play at 3b

Morel has been in the majors two years and has shown no signs of improvement. Why do you still believe in him over a proven hitter?

1). Again 3b is not the Sox issue
2). Youkie will more than likely cost too much
3). Morel has the better glove which the Sox need
4). When healthy Morel can hit
5). Youkie is showing his back issue could be issues for us
6). Money isn't really there to cover his salary
7). Not saying Youkie is done but his bat is awful this season. Could be Hudson part II

I disagree. With Youkie you have to give up stuff. That counts too in the equation

surgery or not he wont be a factor in 2012. when he can actually swing the bat again from being off for a long ass time he will be in AAA in rehab which wont be a 1 week thing since timing has probably been lost.
