The Blackhawks have all star caliber defensemen-- the fans didn't vote them in.

Whoopie poo-- they didn't win the popularity contest. I don't put any stock in the game or most of the people that vote the players in.



As far as injuries are concerned, I would be more concerned over the olympic years since that is played at a level equal to playoff hockey. Like Trevor stated, it's more or less practice for these guys.

oh i agree. I don't care for the voting process or the game itself either.



Just to remind you though Keith was fan voted in before. I wouldn't vote him in this year if I had the choice. Not shocked other fans haven't either. He's a good defensemen but he's not all-star material this year. No one on the club really is.

I don't think anyone is.... Just ask Nick Lidstrom and Teemu Selanne. They declined their invites.

Skills comp can be fun to watch and I do like the drafting of the teams. Lst year watching Kessel was funny as hell.



Game totally sucks other than players being having a mic on them.

All star game is nothing more than a glorified practice anyways. No big deal. Good for those who don't go to the game so they can have a few days off.



Also it's just a fan fair event. Players need to give back to the fans esp the kids.



Its a shitty game but its a great event.
