Jurco?!?!

I was going with what we have right now as far as FWDs go.... could work in some Rockford guys I'm sure.

If you are stuck with this group you could (and probably should) look to push Jurco to the 4th line and let Hayden play with Kero/Hartman.

I figured if the 4th line had Hino/Hayden it might still be useful... if 4th line is Jurco - Hino - Desjardin/Rassmussen it is next to useless IMO.

Seems they were felt like making a choice between Moose n Jurco or Moose is upset he thinks he can get more than minimum on the market.

Or door three, they are letting him see if he can, and if he can't they told him to come back because they aren't sure yet if they can make any of the young guys work out.

Speaking of UFAs, does that signing period kick off July 1st?

You can sign up to over 7.5 Mil over and nobody seems to think he isn't being traded. I would hope if it's to Vegas it can be deal to get the cheap still solid dman they took from Washington. He'd be a perfect 2way LD the team needs

Sounds like Ganger is interested in coming. He had a real cheap show deal for CBJ so idk what he'd want. He could fit a nice need as a great PP QB and either play off Kane or be a bottom 6 center but he'd need to stay cheap again.

You can sign 10% over but you still need to get cap compliant by the start of the season.... are we assuming Hossa and Kruger will both come off our cap?

No but I don't think a significant signing means more than the other so called 22nd n 21st guys on the cap won't be signed. Maybe Ganger is signed at 900k what is around what schmaltz n some other elcs are making already.

I hope the big news is that Toews dumped that bish who has been ruining his career with that pussy diet.... dating is for people who don't have Stanley Cups to win, ok?

The gist I got from a Bowman presser after Hossa announced his allergy was that if Hossa is LTIR'ed at the beginning of the year, it limits the roster flexibility something fierce.

I'm not sure about Kruger, but I'm pretty sure that Hossa will be on the books for Day 1, then LTIR'ed sometime afterward to have the roster flexibility--which is something Stan is known for--maximizing cap.

If they go that route.... Hossa could be activated for the playoffs potentially.

You're damn right he will be, and he'll be ready!

I think it would be entirely up to him if he even wanted to bother staying in playing shape.... if he did the playoffs he still has to deal with like 2 - 8 weeks of skin BS.

He might be serious about shutting it down the whole year 100%.

I know, just trying to stay positive and not be too sad about it. :crying:

The Wild just made some cap saving trades and got immediately worse trading Scandella.

Nice seeing teams that never won a 2nd round matchup have to get worse cause the Cao too

Yeah...Minny got hurt to Las Vegas and then lost Scandella anyway. Their window was this year and last, they had a legit chance. Blues got them too. Elliot played out of his freaking mind that series, and if the goalposts get moved, I think Elliot will benifit the most of guys I have seen given styles of play and body size. It might even be MORE comfortable for him to stand up a bit. I had no idea his hands were that fast. His glove hand is a black hole.
