I went into a redneck owned sandwich shop(mistake #1)..I saw they had Gyros..I ordered one and told the girl not to put any lettuce, tomato or onion on it.." One Gyros, and I just want the sauce on it" I told her...I got my sammich 3 minutes later...1 pita with sauce..No Meat.

It's a soft-shell crab, you can eat pretty much the whole crab because they have just molted the old exoskeleton and the new one has not harden yet. You get all the flavor of a blue crab without all the work of cracking them and picking the meat. I would uppercut my mother for some soft-shell crabs...and I would fully expect my mother to do the same to me.

Just to add to the info you provided, you peel back the shell, cut the lungs out, cut their face/mouth off then dredge and fry that ******, man I love them!

Wanna know how pathetic I am? I went crabbing about a month ago and pulled up one of my baskets and it had 2 crabs in it, 1 regular good sized blue crab, and an extremely small softshell, like 3" tip to tip, and I kept it! Hahhaa I couldn't throw that little ****** back, man it was good!
