hypothetically if JH asked Z if he would Waive his NTC to be moved to the White Sox, I would bet my businesses that he would accept a deal.

I think that is realistic because Z wants to stay in Chicago, but that might also be contingent on whether the White Sox are closer to contention by then. Since the Indians forgot how to win and the Sox aren't that far back, this might be a July 31st last-minute type deal depending on where the Sox are at that point.
The contention thing is important, though, so I think Z, if he gets traded at all, goes to the Yankees or Red Sox.

I think he means that Z would want to bat if he could, but who knows? Either way, he's earned the 10/5 no-trade rights so it's all on him now.
