My favorite teams
All in all, so long as the Bears don't go stupid throughout the rest of the game, I'm happy with the progress the bears have made on offense.
The defense is what it is. A very good but not great defense that struggles somewhat against the run. But the offense really seemed to grab onto the identity it found in Indy and further attempted in the second half of the Rams game.
This team is better off as a run first, play action offense. That may not tickle the fancy of offensive coordinators who fancy themselves as geniuses and need to prove it on every single play call, but it's what absolutely works for this team and it is a very QB friendly way to run a successful offense.
The Bears need to keep doing that and not getting too cute.
