Same here. And give me Baez at second. Drop Bryant in the order.
I'll take Baez at second as well. We need the big bats tomorrow

If the offense keeps playing like it did tonight Jake won't matterGame over. Going to lose this series 3-1 now... thanks Jake for potentially keeping it interesting in Game 3.
Cubs had their chances and the umpire fucking sucks. Thanks a lot for the loss, Kris Bryant.
He's been pretty bad on offense the last couple of weeksBryant was awful tonight. Extremely disappointing game.
I'm trying. I'll get there by game time tomorrow.Obviously it was huge frustration for us fans tonight. Let's try not to forget that our Cubs are a very good baseball team. A strong showing from Hendricks and some good hitting and were right back in it.
We have the talent level to compete. Let's stay a bit optimistic.

I'm much more optimistic about the bats than Hendricks though, I can't lie
Same here. Let's hope were pleasantly surprised.

I've got the bourbon ready for tomorrow either way brother. We're in this together
Exactly, Frankie. Just a few too many front runners in here at playoff time. If they'd been paying attention all year, they would've known that the ball & strike calls have been horseshit the whole season....why would that change now? You have to live with it...play through it. The only problem I had with this game was Maddon's sending Strop out there against a team that's had his number all season. It's not that he's a bad pitcher...he's just bad against St. Louis. He should've dressed someone else, just so he wouldn't be tempted to use him.
He hit a hard line shot to LF in his first AB. It was caught, but the process is all a hitter can control. He's been pretty bad on offense the last couple of weeks

I meant in general. He hit a hard line shot to LF in his first AB. It was caught, but the process is all a hitter can control.
The ump did suck, but the Cubs players needed to adjust. He was calling those pitches all night and they were still acting shocked. Todays a new day. Need to come out and play ball. Don't worry about last night. Nothing you can do about it now.
You're right but it's hard to adjust to a strike zone that is moving up/down and left/right (mostly left). Credit Lackey for taking advantage but it seemed like most of those balls called strikes were going against the cubs. I'm obviously biased.
They just need a win tomorrow night. The goal is to steal home field advantage.
