Eh... i mean is it Maddon's fault the heart of the order with 3 bats who've gotten MVP votes in the past plus Baez who will get them this year went 1-9? Ultimately the good players have to be good if you want to win. They've had 7 baserunners in this game. Contreras x1, La Stella x1, Almora x2, Bryant x1, Zobrist x1 and Happ x1.The role players have largely done decent work all things considered.

Yeah I don't condone firing him this year but his act is growing old and stale. If they continue to regress next year, it's time to make a move preferably for someone who will hold the players accountable for underachieving.
