Yep. Pretty much every Sox fan on this board is a complete asshole. Same goes for most of the Sox fans I know in real life. They find every way to shove 2005 up your ass.

Complete embarrassment to the city, they are. Thankfully there are only a couple thousand of them.

'Course, we have a few bad apples on the north side as well. That said, more cubs fans pull for the sox in the PS than do sox fans for the cubs ... by a looooong shot.

My Dad has always preferred the Sox. I got tickets from work to a game so I took him to the new us cellular field and he said it was like a funeral. We also ate some nasty sausage thing that was cold. He said afterwards fine we will go to wrigley from now on. Cool story bro I know but he got me nice Cubs tickets this year!

I also did pull for the sox big time in 2005. I am not from the inner city so I don't really get the hate one is a must philosophy. To me Chicago sports is usually so tough I like having as many chances for joy as possible. I do obviously prefer the Cubs though.

It is more fun but the parking was bad, made the mistake of not buying a spot beforehand or taking the train. I actually live closer to the brewers park I love going there. Cheap tickets, tailgating, no tolls. I just go for Cubs games of course.

The thing I've noticed is that a lot of so-called Sox fans are nothing of the sort....not real surprising when you look at their attendance and even more telling, the TV ratings. They don't follow the team, all they care about is the Cubs not winning. If that happens their day is a good one.
