I can't get on the "well we weren't supposed to here so be grateful" bandwagon. We were here, seize the chance because tomorrow is not guaranteed. Unfortunately they couldn't get it going. Yes it was a good year, but can't help but feel sad.

Were the Red Sox losing 4-0 in Game 4 in 2003?

Unbelievable. We have got to find replacements for Hammel and Haren.

we must go at Greinke not only for his skills b ut also to send a message to the league that we want win next season

It was the first time ever a playoff series was clinched at wrigley. Against the 100 win cardinals no less. Years of frustration was let out and yes it was a little over the top but I can understand it. Also, now I am glad they did celebrate, the fans, and the players got a little taste of success. Love able losers are dead this team will be on a mission next year hopefully.

Boy.....when we go out in the playoffs we go out in flames:

1984....lose 3 straight to gag
1989.....lose 3 straight with home field advantage
1998......lose 3 straight
2003......lose 3 straight to gag
2007......lose 3 straight and swept while imploding, but zambarano still fresh for game 4
2008......lose 3 straight and swept while gagging after best recoed in nl
2015.....lose 4 straight and swept while never leading and possibly going 36 inninigs without a leadoff hit

To recap
7 years
7 series losses
22 straight losses to end the season
13-28 overall record

God does this post make sense.

Lol dropping easy balls in outfield, weird pitches, etc.

The curse continues .. Just kidding they'll be fine next season hopefully.

But seriously..

The curse
