Been eyeing this game on the schedule. Actually let down that Hall will be suspended for this one, but definitely a plus in terms of grabbing a win.

This Oilers team is clearly geared towards massive success, but I see this matchup a lot like the 07-09 Hawks playing the Red Wings.

I never know what Oilers team is going to show up. I doubt the Hawks or the Oilers know either.

I'm predicting a strange game. It's been a while since there has been a really strange game.

For whatever reason the last 2-3 years the Oilers give us problems. Hope they win, but feeling guarded aboot this game.

What's scarey is it's too early in the season to peak - maybe Sharpie is just hanging out waiting til it means something. A loss real soon won't bother me a bit. Don't think it will be the Oilers though.

I think I'm more scared about St. Louis than I am the Oilers honestly... sure... Blues are obviously better, but it's @ St. Louis, and they have the number #1 PP right now, going against the hawks #1 PK... I think the team that can make the hawks pay for bad penalties will be the one to finally take them down. and a 30% PP is crazy high. I saw this of course with the Oliers coming in with the 7th highest... but they suck.

The speed of the Oil ute has caught the D off guard the last couple years.

Plus Khabibulin is seeing everything.

Their Top rookie is out...so you never know...and I like how we play better away then at home.

This year: 7-0-1 at home... 8-0-2 away. Last year: At home, 27-8-6. Away, 18-18-5. I think you can give that theory a rest for now. They've lost a total of 15 games at home between this season and last season, OT or regulation.

Blues just got done losing 5 straight at home as well. They are very shaky and have a problem scoring goals. Hawks are also due for a let down sooner or later. No team is that good they NEVER lose.
