Blues just got done losing 5 straight at home as well. They are very shaky and have a problem scoring goals. Hawks are also due for a let down sooner or later. No team is that good they NEVER lose.

Bullshit. A Doug Henning or Billy Wheeler team never loses...

Where did I say that they will never lose?

Their powerplay is better at home (18.8%) than it is away (16.3%)...

Their PK is worse at home (84.8) than away (94.1) but keep in mind Emery has started the majority of home games and his save percent on the PK is worse (0.853%) compared to Crawford's (0.962%) which in my mind explains more than just playing bad at home, and like PMXC has stated before, it was bound to come back down to Earth at some point.

I don't know, I just don't see much evidence that they play better on the road compared to at home. They had one shutout at home, one away... They're pretty good either way. I don't think it matters.

IMO, I will always feel like they play better away...the record may be close, but they are more metally sound away, then at home where I feel like they take their foot off the petal since they know the crowd is behind them. Call me crazy but I do see a difference in them away and at home.

I don't care about the Presidents Trophy, but to me it doesn't matter. It's a myth, if you are good enough in the playoffs it doesn't matter where you finish in the regular season.

I would agree except for the historical averages, it's been 5 years since a PC team won the Cup.

More important I think is the team being unable to hold onto an impossible pace (as this will prove to be) and not being able to recover in time to get back onto the same kind of win percentage for the playoffs.

I dont really care about the Presidents Trophy, however what a big **** you would it be to the Nucks if we win it and the SC. They won it twice in a row and failed to get a cup and we got a SC with and without it.

Holy pessimism.

The Flyers went 35 straight without dropping on and the Canadiens 24, I know it is to start the season but we still aren't in that echelon. The list of impressive streaks is just a slew of Cup winners so to me there is nothing to be afraid of.
